Tea time is S.P.A. Life time

Tea time doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated.

The article, 5 Teas with More Antioxidants than Green Tea, by Caitlin Pagan on Verywellhealth.com got me to thinking about how taking time for tea, especially a healthful tea, is a great way to experience the S.P.A. Life.

Enjoying tea time ticks all the S.P.A. Life boxes:

  • setting aside a few moments of quiet time for yourself

  • focusing on your health and well-being

  • pleasing and warming your senses in some way

And how wonderful, too, that there are so many varieties beyond sweet and expensive! While a decent Matcha can set you back at about $20.00 per ounce, all of the others mentioned in this article (from white, green, and purple to hibiscus) are very affordable. Most come in at around $5.00 for a box of 20 tea bags. And the rituals with which you learn or create to brew and enjoy your tea are free!
